Starting a dumb RR thread for no good reason.

Stamps , coins, cards, comic books, etc. are pretty normal

I've known guys that collect matchbooks, hats, shirts, casino chips, pens etc. Heard of people that collect sand.

Anybody know somebody that collects something really odd, what is it ?

I have a weird aunt that collects elephant things. She must have several hundred (thousand?) elephant related things, mostly figurines placed in order by size on her fireplace mantle, and beyond. Haven't seen that fruity aunt in about 20 years +

You can buy those for a premium, I can direct you to a dealer. Good for liar's poker.

post the site man I'd love to see it.

Can't find a website, but call Valley View Coins and Collectibles at 800-648-0808, they'll mail you a catalog.

I've seen them offer so-called radar notes ( same forward and backward like 67544576) repeaters ( 58935893)and others.

"What's the weirdest thing you've ever known anyone to collect ?"

A rock through his (and Wifes) bedroom window 3 weeks after payday & not answering cell phone all.

Shitty to have to get there, but it was "real" money, and late.

BTW-Multiple times over a couple years
